I just caught the first episodes of the Flavor of Love and I couldn't belive how funny it was. Not only did a woman leave something nasty in Flava's crib Flava also planted a spy to see what women are really there for Flav.

All men need a spy that looks like that! The Eyez have it.

New Season of celebrity Fit Club

Just when you thought it was safe there is a new season of Fit Club coming back on MTV. I have to admit I am hooked on this garbage TV show and I don't know why. What the heck do I care if Isaac from the Love Boat loses weight.

So another season Of Harvey the drill sergeant yelling at Celebrities is on the way. I wish them luck. I will be watching

Did The Apprentice Jump The Shark?

I just noticed that almost a whole season of The Apprentice went by and I didn't make one post on it. This got me thinking "Did The apprentice Jump The Shark?"

To tell you the truth I only watched about 3 shows as this years cast just didn't get me as interested as the last few seasons. Although I should watch religiously every week for the business lesson that is in every episode I just couldn't be bothered.

I don't know why this is and it's not like anything else is on TV on Mondays. I would love to hear from others, maybe some people think this is the best season.

Lesson Number #1 Shut Up

Ok so there is no better lesson than what we saw on the first week of the apprentice. When Donald Trump tells you to shut up you should listen. It was apparent that he was going to fire the team leader until she started talking. You guys know what I mean. I am still trying to remember the new peoples names. I guess as the new season of the apprentice goes on that will become easier.

Why was there two people in the blimp anyway. The Russian guy had that part under control.

A New Season and A New Night

So it is time for the new Apprentice to start and they are changing the night to Mondays. In a way I am glad as there really is nothing to watch on Mondays. With Monday Night Football moving to ESPN there is really nothing to watch.

Although they are moving another one of my favorite shows "Las Vegas" I am glad that it is moving to Friday.

I am looking forward to watching another season of The Apprentice as I always take a lesson learned and apply it in the real world. The lessons are there you just have to look for them.

The New Apprentice is Randal

Well another season is done and there really wasn't a loser. Randal won the game and it was a tough decision for Donald Trump. Either one could of won and I was rooting for Rebecca but I didn't feel bad when Randal won as he was great also.

I was shocked that he had the chance to take Rebecca with him and he opted to dis her and take the whole thing for himself. That kind of got me mad as I am sure others were also that were rooting for Rebecca.

I wish them both well and I am sure Donald is going to hire her to run something. I do know one thing I won't be going to Atlantic City Trump properties any time soon. Right now I am not a Randal fan. I wish him luck but they won't be getting any of my business.

Two more are gone

The Apprentice just ended and as usual Donald surprised me by firing two people Alla and Felisha are history. Once Felisha started crying in the board room it was a no brainer that she would be gone. When Trump let ALLa go also I was shocked.

Will sweet Rebecca win on crutches or will Randal be the first person of color to become the apprentice. Both are very very good and they work good together. I hope they go into business together when this is all over.

Down to Final Four

Last night on the Apprentice we finally get down to business. There is only 4 people left. What was impressive last night was the lesson that you can foil a competiors plan and you should do it if you get the chance.

When Rebecca and Randall chose to go to Radio Shack to get the other teams megaphones I knew that Trump would mention how cunning it was when they got into the board room. If you can get a leg up on the competition you should always do it. The other team was weak even though they had a good plan they were just too little too late. Why did all three go to Radio Shack is still beyond me as one person could of done that. The others should of been out getting people for their wrap billboards.

I am not sure who will win but it will be either Rebecca or Randall. The other two don't have a chance. Both Randall and Rebecca both faced hard distractions with his Grandmother passing away and Her having a broken ankle through out these task. Don't think for a minute that Donald hasn't noticed this. If I had to bet I would think it would be Rebecca that wins as Randall is so smart you have to wonder if Trump is just a stepping stone for him. I wish them both luck though.

A New Lesson From Mr.Trump

This past weekend I attended the Learning Annex Real Estate seminar in New York City where Donald Trump was one of the main speakers. His speech was not what most people would think. I think most of the people that were there were expecting him to show them how to strike it rich. That was their fault in the first place.

His speech was great as it covered a lot of stuff especially about taking risk and getting off your ass and doing something instead of being scared to do something.

This week on the apprentice we got a lesson on what not to do. Sometimes that is just as important as doing things right. To me it was no surprise that all 4 people were going to get the boot. Anytime sales actually go down it is a given that you failed and failed miserable on the task at hand. This didn't come down to one person and I am sure that after Donald talked to Bill and Carolyn it was a no brainer as to what had to happen.

Donald didn't even let the project manager choose who he wanted back in the board room. That right there was a tell tale sign of things to come.

Once again it showed us all a lesson that you can't fail and become an apprentice.

The Women Lost Again

Toral Is History

Was this a surprise to anyone. I really didn't see what she brought to the table at all. Even Though I am starting to dislike the group of women that are in especially the one named Kristi. I don't know why but she just strikes a nerve with me.

So Toral didn't put on the costume, I don't blame her as those women asked her to go in it just to embarass her in the first place. Her mistake was not stepping up an be the project manager. Mr Trump did not like that at all and probably led to her demise before the task even started.

Markus Survives

How Markus didn't get fired this week and provided us with a Trump business lesson. Did you get it? I will bet you didn't get it as it took me a minute. You see the problem that Chris had was he was doomed as soon as he said he limited Markus in the task. That told Donald that Markus really didn't have a fair shake in working with the team. That proved bad people management for Chris as did him not taking the creative director into the board room with him.

It was just stupid even after Donald told him that Markus should not be brought back into the boardroom. What did he do he only brought Markus back into the boardroom. I knew it was over for Chris as he made about 5 critical team player mistakes.

The Apprentice Season 4

Well I am glad that this series is back as it is one of my favorites. Being a young business owner myself I can pick up some pointers for free from Donald Trump himself.

This week was the usual week that you could tell who was going to be fired. Once Melissa started going off on the project manager Kristi with Carolyn in the same room it was bye bye as soon as she reported back to the Donald. Actually it was Melissa saying that she couldn't work with women that eventually lead her to go home early. Donald doesn't like hearing the word CAN'T.

Why anyone would even mention that word to him is a mystery to me as he would never hire anyone with that mentality.

The male team project manager Markus is probably the next one to go since he couldn't even get his own team to vote for him to be exempt. If your own team won't vote for you Trump sure isn't going to.

Hogan Knows Best ~ Who Says

I get a kick out the the Hogan knows best show. Here is a guy with no concept of reality staring in a reality TV show LOL. His kids are spoiled brats that need to get a job.

It was cool seeing some of the old wrestler on the show but that's about it. Hulks dogs are more interesting then the show is. One show his neighbor called the cops that was kind of fun to watch.

It sounds like I don't like the show but it is one of my favorites. After all when was the last time you seen a huge muscle guy doing pilates.

Reality Shows I hate

There are some reality televison shows that I just cant stand. "Survivor" is one of those shows. They get a bunch of people and strand them on an Island. Who cares if they get off I don't know these people or do I care about them. I am not the one thats going to win a million dollars. It is one of the reasons to get cable if you ask me. My tv rarely goes on WCBS at all anymore.

Fear Factor is another one that I can't watch. Who wants to see people eating worms and stuff on tv. NOT ME I couldn't care less about that show. The funny thing is they show reruns of it here at dinner time.

History Of Reality Television

Is it me or is reality television shows getting weirder all the time? I mean come on, every season it seems like the audience is being asked to watch some people that they do not know do ridicules things. The funny part of this is we sit back and watch them year after year.
When did this reality television craze start anyway? If you are old enough to remember shows like Candid Camera, that's right Candid Camera started all this off. Was it really a reality show you bet it was. Just think about it we are doing the same thing we did back then. Sit on the couch glued to the television watching people we don't know doing stupid things

The New Reality Television shows

Even though the reality television shows have changed over the years the basically stayed the same. The next show in the long line of this really isn't a reality show as we know it but its been on television for over 20 years now and that's America's Funniest Home Videos Ok I know what you are going to say "Vinny that isn't a reality television show." I am afraid you would be wrong the only difference is that the people on America's Funniest Home Video's where only on television for a minute if that long. What were you doing? Let me guess sitting on the couch watching people you don't know doing stupid stuff. See I told you it was a reality television show.

There is another reality show that has been on almost as long as Americas Funniest Video's and you would never in a million years guess what show I am talking about. You even sang the theme song to it for the last 20 years. Hmm Do you give up? Here's a hint "Bad boys, bad boys, wachaa gonna do when they come for you" Very good I am proud of you. The show COPS is what set off the reality television shows craze. It wasn't the show Survivor that was just what made the word reality television into being.

After the success of Survivor that's when the reality television craze started for the next generation. All of a sudden along came shows like this on MTV.

All I know is that Reality television has been around a long time and anyone that thinks this is a fad or a craze is just crazy. I will be sitting home watching The Apprentice if it stays on television for the next 30 years.
